Is the removal of the Tamora's bonnet something you can do on your own without totaling the bodywork?

Or do you really need two pairs of hands?

Cheers

To do it safely, really requires 2 people. As it is so close to the bodywork, it is easy for it to slip and scratch the paintwork. I normally place a sheet/blanket over each wing just to be safe.
Also, before removal, make sure that you place a mark around the bracket, so that you don't have to faff about trying to get it lined up again when refitting it.

This. I believe you can get quick release bonnet clips to save all the fannying about with the bolts but you need two people to remove/re-fit otherwise it will end in tears

On mine I take the two m8 nuts from the hinge pin, undo the stay, push fom o/s to n/s to release o/s hinge then lift it away from n/s hinge. easy.
