Hi,

Got the urge for a speed six engined tiv.
My question is:

Can a basic service (plugs, leads, oil and filters) be carried out with the same ease as on the RV8?

Cheers

In short:
Yes.

Due to the drysump architecture it is more difficult to get all the old oil out of the engine. But there are several ways to do so.
The air and oil-filters are easily reached.
To change the plugs you have to remove the cover, which has to be resealed.
But all in, not more difficult than a RV8.

Björn.

When I had my Tamora done, Matt (Smith) just undid two oil drain plugs in different areas and that was it so it seemed straight forward.
