I have condensation in one of my rear light clusters.

I can see that there is a gap in the sealant. If I were to masking tape around the gap and finger press in some sikaflex sealant, do you think it would cure the condensation problems?

I drilled a tiny hole with the smallest drill bit I had into the very bottom of each of the rear lens covers. This allows any moisture to empty out and keeps the inside clear from condensation.

I have a tiny hole at the base of each lens cover and similar ones inside the boot on the top lamp moulding (to help the rising warm moist air to evaporate), but even then it ain't great!

I normally end up blowing compressed air through the top inner holes to drive out the remaining moisture.... but it always returns rolleyes

Had the same problem on the front of my 350 tried putting some in to the cracks but that just did not work in the end went for the all out approach and to date despite lots of rain they have stayed moisture free the one thing I found probaly due to the age of the sealant they were quite easy to take out after some fine work with a small scapel I was able to ease in a small plastic spatula and to draw it round to cut the sealant much easier than I thought no paint problems that way and then resealed them back in using masking tape both on the paintwork and lense when doing the final finishing off of the sealant
