Sagaris Insurance Company Valuations
Discussion
I was just checking various insurance quotes and was wondering why some were really low, in the £200's. Then I looked at the small print and the low insurances were based on valuations of ~£19,000.
So, I checked Parkers online as this is roughly in line with the Black Book and the following was listed:
Original Price £50,033
Franchised Dealer £21,585
Independent Dealer £20,245
Private Good £19,130
Private Poor £14,680
Part Exchange £16,900
I'll definitely be going with an agreed value insurance this time now, but thought it'd be worth pointing out if anyone else had been pleasantly surprised by a quote recently.
Make sure you check you'll be getting back what you were expecting should the worst happen!

Yep they dont take into consideration limited numbers and cult status, old ferraris are the same, stuff like sierra rs500 are pennies in them. Get an agreed value and insure it with mannings, we just have done and now have total peace of mind. They just said it needed to be valued by a dealer etc so we used Dom at power but any specialist will do.
