Is this conversion doable or is the T strengthened in construction?

Different shell AFAIK - certainly we've got an extra element to the roll cage running fore-aft where I think C cars have courtesy light etc. And T panels are almost close to impossible to get hold of. Don't do it!

I agree - it's also not just a simple hole in the roof, there is a raised edge all round and various seals etc. PLus, as said the targa panels are pretty much extinct apart from those on current cars.

A webasto sliding fabric roof might work well in a T350 Coupe.

I thought they would have been better off with a Tuscan style roof panel, wonder if one can be retro fitted?
