After three days driving around France in hot weather missus complained of wet feet in the Tamora. Aircon had been on extensively and water appeared to be steady dripping from behind the glove box onto the heel pad in the carpet. Water was clear and cold. Normal engine temperature, so assume its aircon based. Turned aircon off for rest of holiday and no issues. Trying to establish if its a leak in the aircon system or condensation (TADTS). No loss of aircon performance. Im hoping its just condensation, but would appreciate advice recommendations on next step. Thanks

Sounds like condensation off the evaporator coil that should drain away somehow?.

Drain hose blocked or kinked or fell off?

Easy fix, air con and roof panel off wink

Thanks for the quick reply. I’ll have a look for a drain hose under there. I had a feeling it might be something simples. J

But beware, on the left side of the passenger footwell is the Alarm ECU located, with the open side upwards. So the water could fill up he plastic enclosure and damage the electronics.

Also leaks if the heater boxes are not sealed in fully under the bonnet.
