Welp, I have once again failed to destroy my tyres even on track, and time dictates I should look at fresh shoes.

I have been running AD08’s and the like, but time to be slightly more sensible and not get track specific rubber.

What do you use / swear by? Thanks!

Good question. I think you'll find a lot of people recommend Michelin Pilot Sport 5s for road + track usage, which is what I have fitted.
Really grippy in wet and dry conditions and they last well. A good looking tyre too!

I'm also looking to replace mine this year and considering going down from 255/40/18s to 255/35/18s. Has anyone experienced both and can comment on the difference in terms of handling, if any?

Thanks for that! My C63 is now running Bridgestones, and I’m impressed with them so far - they got top marks in the latest EVO test.

My immediate question would be why? More sidewall = better ride on these horrific roads, but if you are having fitment issues….

My other set of wheels are 19’s. 255 30 all the way around and ridiculously expensive.
