Did anyone ever find a cure for the exhaust resonance at 2k to 2.5k?

It is a nightmare when you have a hangover...

Had a sports exhaust fitted, and oddly enough, it seems to have reduced the problem, not gone completely, but much better - to the point its not an irritaion now.
