I'm in the process of converting my conventional switches to the glass versions. The first one was the glovebox switch since it was the easiest to access. The new switch is able to unlatch the lock, but the indicator light does not illuminate like the original version did. The kit I purchased included three identical switches (AD33-062A00-BB, one for the glovebox, two for the seats), and they all behave the same way...no light. Switching back to the original switch, the light worked as it always had.

Are there different versions of this switch for different cars? Everything I've found seems to imply it is the correct switch for my car. Any insight would be appreciated!

Bump :-)

Finally got around to fitting the glass switch set to my 2010 V12V, and noticed the same as the OP.

No illumination on the glove box switch.

Can anyone please confirm what I should be seeing?

There are three main types of Glass switch.

1. Centre illuminated with a second coloured LED for the tell tale (round pin light) such as the parking switch, fogs etc.

2. Centre illuminated with extra LEDs that illuminate the whole switch with a different colour such as the DSC switch., no separate tell tale pin light.

3 Glovebox and early seat fold switches, where there is no illumination LED, just the tell tale pin light to illuminated when pressed.

I produce and sell glass switch sets that include the switches never available from Aston Martin such as Heated Screens, Air Con, Hazards etc.
