Virage/DB9 2013 on front splitter removal
Discussion
I would like to remove the splitter on my Virage to get it touched up so wondered if anyone had removed one from a Virage or facelift DB9?
I took the bolts off on the underside of the leading edge but it didn't seem to want to budge. Judging by the parts manual there is a hidden bolt at either end so, if there are actually some, what is the best way to get to them?
It looks like there might be some tabs as well so I didn't want to just tug and break something!

Thanks for that, Yes, that is how I discovered the two hidden bolts.
It is not obvious what needs to come off to get to them though. I am assuming the wheel arch liner but, judging by videos I have watched the airboxes are down near there so may be in the way.
I am sure it isn't a hard job but I don't want to jack the car up and remove the wheels and wheel arch liners if it isn't actually necessary.

It's been about a year since your post, and I'm sure you discovered this by now, but for those who are just first reading this - It is not obvious what needs to come off to get to them though. You can reach the two 'hidden bolts' by removing the two torx bolts from the side painted section of the bumper, pushing the fender liner 'flap' up, and reaching around with your hand. The hidden bolts are also torx (small, I can't recall which T exactly), and they're basically hand tight. I got them out with a torx socket and an extension, turning the extension by hand. It will be a bit of blind stabbing back there to get the socket in place, but it's not terribly hard.
To be honest, I found that the splitter piece is very, very secure in its spot with just the larger torx bolts and the two clips on each side. If you want to skip re-installing those hidden bolts, I don't think it's going to risk anything.
I have done the job now but it was definitely a two person job. Having access to a friends ramp helped too!
The hardest part is lining up all of the friction brackets that lock into the tangs along the bottom of the grille whilst trying to get each end of the splitter back into the retaining holes on the wings.

I have seen this message a few times recently on AM PH.
What does it mean?
Cannot imagine an AM owner, including 'p102768', would have posted an unpleasant photograph.
Could it be that Central Control Downing Street, has censored a photo of a car owned by a successful business owner and employer of 'working people'?
Does someone detest Aston Martin cars?
It is a puzzle.
Whatever the reason might be, this situation has only been going on during the past few months.
