..... I guess it depends on how far back you put the front seats
.
In my Rapide my wife can sit behind me (I'm 5"11) for a reasonable amount of time, but would be uncomfortable for long journeys.

I was more interested if the legroom was greater in front seat than DB9, I'm 6'4" and the DB9 is pretty tight, could use another inch or 2 of legroom, not too concerned with rear legroom as it would be younger grandkids in back if at all.

A Vanquish is what you need to look at. It has more front legroom than a DB9. It is a definite improvement over DB9/DBS. It s probably only a couple inches, but it can make all the difference between comfort and being cramped.
Really? I was under the impression that the bonded aluminium "tub" was the same between the two, the main difference being the Vanquish being clad in carbon fibre bodywork vs the DB9's aluminium/steel/composite.Vinocasino said:
Im 6 foot 5 and have no problem in the Rapide in the drivers sear. Loads of room. I dont have the seat as far back as it can go. Never been in a DB9, so cant compare to that im afraid
Height makes a poor benchmark for legroom. I’m 5-10 but have my seat all the way back on my DBS and same on my Vanquish. I’m definitely more comfortable in the Vanq due to the extra leg/knee room. The Rapide has no more legroom than the DB9/DBS. DB9VolanteDriver said:

The Rapide has no more legroom than the DB9/DBS. While i'm not super familiar with the leg room on the db9 vs the rapide. Last Sunday I was sat in a Dbs. I have a very low and back seating position for my height as i'm only 5ft8. And I thought if I was such taller this would be a bit too cozy.
However the DBS i wad sat in, I asked the owner if the seat was all the way back. He said essentially because if it goes further back, but it pushes the back rest more upright making it cramped. This is not an issue you get in the Rapide at all. So maybe the leg length isn't much better but the Rapide doesn't force the back rest forward so it would still be more comfortable.

Not more cramped, but with a more vertical back. The Jaguar X150 and possibly all 2+2s have that issue - the further the base of the seat goes backwards, the more vertical the back has to be because it hits the seats behind. However IIRC the DB9 is worse than the Jag in that respect.Gassing Station | Aston Martin | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
