Hi there,
I got a 2005 DB 9 and the following problem occurred:
I open the car and stick the key in - half way in there is a little Sound Front right and I get a engine check blink. Afterwards nothing happens. No audio no check no start. I ordered an OBD2 to check if I get any codes but the car does almost nothing. Anybody a clue ? Battery is fully loaded, so that’s not the topic.
Thanks a lot for every hint !
Cheers Alex

When you put the key in and turn it to ignition do you hear the fuel pump priming and the starter solenoid clicking?

Do you see the Aston dash power Beauty and soul, and most importantly a red illuminated start button?

Any OBD codes would be good to know.

Don't underestimate the battery, these cars are very battery hungry.

Plus try your spare key.

I had a similar issue issue with my DB9. It ended up being taken away to the local dealer… for them to tell me the starter button fuse had blown!

Got in the car to check the OBD again - suddenly everything worked again and the engine started. Think it was a problem with the key recognition - Cheers !

Glad you got that sorted, but I for one would want to understand why. Otherwise it might next happen 200 miles from home
