New Vantage any good deals about?
Discussion
With out having to phone all the dealers in the UK,
Anyone know of any good deals on a new Vantage?
I see ex demos for circa £130-140
Looking on line you can configure and get the odd monthly payment, but wanted to know what you could get one down to Price??
And if so what dealers are the best for a new car deal?
Thanks

Am I right in thinking you’ve not long had your divine red vantage which has also had some issues ?
If my memory is correct have you at least tried asking your supplying dealer what they could do ?
It’s been a while since I last bought a brand new Aston but off my V12S factory order I got 7% off.
My new “ old “ vantage from memory was £20k off but that was the previous model.

Yup thats the one,
The car is all back and working fine now. But i have seen a few new ones on the road and was told about some good deals last year, must be a new year thing where they don’t let anyone know offers online!
A friend of mine got -£16k off a new M3 so i was expecting a bit of a deal, but the ex demos look good if you like the choice of spec they have ordered.

Glad yours is sorted - divine is such a great colour.
Comparing to BMW deals is probably a non starter.
It used to be that with dealer stock cars a deal was certainly possible - that’s where I got my £20k off.
In fairness I also ordered another one at the same time but to my spec and got a similar amount off.
Change in circumstances ( Covid and then wfh ) meant I had to cancel this one though.
I don’t know how many pre dealer specced cars sit in stock these days.
I’m sure I got an email the other day telling me about a £40k dealer contribution if I took out Finance which could be another route - can’t recall what model though.
Obviously then cancel the Finance though within 14 days

Discounts aren't advertised but are quickly offered if you go and talk to them in person, much more for showroom cars.
I was verbally offered a generous discount on a couple of showroom cars towards the end of last year. DB12 were similar, but I think that was a specific push on them at a point in time and they did seem to sell the few cars they were clearly trying to get rid of. To get the deal, you had to take it on finance, although I guess with it being a regulated PCP deal you could settle the finance after a few months if you'd intended to pay cash.
The latest deal I was offered (phone call) was a 2 year PCP, although going through the numbers on it the GFV/balloon payment seemed artificially high, meaning low monthly payments (relatively speaking) but you'd be handing the car back in 2 years as the car wouldn't be worth anywhere near the final payment. This is similar to how the original 2019 deals worked, but the numbers are much bigger this time. From memory, more like £20-30k deposit and over £1k per month - it would be well over £50k to have the car for 2 years which felt a bit rich. I can't remember if these were brand new in-stock or nearly new/ex demo type cars.
I'd love a new one too, but my 2019 car with 17k miles is only worth about £60k trade in and I own it, so I'd be swapping my immaculate car for 2 years of renting a new one, then be back at square one!

When you put it like that it is crazy! Depends on what you prefer and we need new sold to buy the used in the future!
