Interior scuff repair - Phantom Grey
Discussion
I have a few very small areas on my V8V which could do with tidying up.
Nothing major and probably only noticeable to me, but I’d like to get them touched in.
Happy to do it myself if anyone knows of a repair kit ? Had a look online but not seen anything.
Alternatively if anyone’s done their own and has a partially used kit left over I’d be happy to Chuck some dosh over.
Cheers
Jonny

I used Colourlock products with good success.

Gliptone do a Phantom Grey Scuffmaster dye at https://www.liquidleather.co.uk/.
Dab it on with a tissue and it's invisible. Lasts for ages.
A kit costs about £9.

My Vantage interior is also Phantom Grey and I bought a kit (from Furniture Clinic if I recall) to fix some small scuffs. You can barely notice them now.
You do have to mix up the paint, and I had to keep adding another colour (think it was yellow, or was it green ?) until I was happy with the match.

And colourlock it was....
Top tip, don't try and remove your front seat with restricted access, by yourself, otherwise you'll end up with this.

If you are foolish enough, you can get away with it using a Colourlock kit in the correct colour.

I have an interior scuff too:
My interior is Obsidian Black, is it the same to yours? And what kit exactly did you order from Colourlock? This is what they offer on their site:
I believe it should be the filler, but would like to be sure, cheers.
You need the following - sanding pad, leather cleaner, leather filler, GLD pen, leather finish (the colour dye).
Use them in that order.
The leather filler is also interior coloured.
It’s expensive, but worth it. Watch the videos on the website as well and make sure you shake the leather finish bottle well ! There’s a description under each product in how to use them.

I currently have a tube of Fluid Leather, unopened Leather Fresh (30ml) and approx half empty Leather Fresh in Phantom Grey, knocking about in the workshop.
There's approx £50 of stuff and more than enough to tidy up a bolster etc.
If anyone's interested PM me and we can discuss a very reasonable exchange of beer tokens !

Hi Jonny...... massive long shot here....!!! But don't suppose you have the Phantom Grey kit knocking about for some beer tokens still do you? There's approx £50 of stuff and more than enough to tidy up a bolster etc.
