New owner (Ale_72 2012 Vantage S Volante)
Discussion
After having found the "right" car and after a couple of suggestions from @EVR (sooner or later I'll understand how to quote a user) I decided to pull the trigger.
I traded in my beloved 2010 boxster spyder (no way in the world that the aston will be able to match her drivability) and I bought this one (here the first time I saw the AM, last Monday)

On Wed I drove her back to Italy (lovely 500km with no issue at all) to have a quick check and service done at the AM dealer.
Result? Bad communication of the AMS gearbox unit. So I had to leave it there. They are now closed for a couple of weeks so I hope to have it back end of Aug. Not surprised, not worried, Morgan taught me a lot)
Below the goodbye picture with my other beloved english wreck (that anyhow allowed me to go to the Milan welcome dinner organised by @EVR (again, thanks for that
) and another couple of guys, one with a supernice combo color vantage volante and the other one with a 997S convertible - another car that I always loved)

Welcome Alessandro, Vantage looking wonderful. A lovely and traditional colour too.
I expect EVR might have mentioned to you, (Volante shown in title) that your car is called Roadster.
Don't think it has been mentioned why Aston Martin only use the roadster name for Vantage and Volante for their other roof down models.
Interesting Morgan you have, also in a splendid colour. I visit their factory occasionally, because it is not far from my home.
They are still using their famous antique bender for wood laminates. Your model might not have any wood though. You will know that Morgan have become quite modern recently, with their new component alloy chassis, although it looks more basic than the Aston Martin versions.
Enjoy your Aston.

It is indeed a Roadster which is basically a two-seater convertible as opposed to the 2+2 Volante.

First of all, welcome and congratulations, your car looks lovely in that colour.

Thanks to both. Well noted. I will change the references.Dewi 2 said:

Thanks, I did it as well, since they were nice enough to organise a tour for me.Dewi 2 said:

I have quite some ash wood. The main difference with the trad models is that I have a bonded aluminium chassis instead of the steel one. Nevertheless in both cases the subframe is still made of ash wood. Here a pic from my build book of mine (you can partially see the wood near to the A pillar and right behind the rear wheel. All the aluminium is supported by ash skeleton).
This is how it looks the ash subframe in the aero.
And again, morgan is a complete different animal compared to the more streamlined Aston, that I hope will become soon my daily (as soon as they fix the crap gearbox).
Looking forward to replicate this

And when I have the car back in end Aug/Sept, I will have to submit you a couple of pics (EVR already noticed something).
I fear that the first owner decided to put some "personal" touch.
For now I think I have spotted some cosmetic paint in the bonnet, the carbon mirrors housing and the driver door sill plate.
Unfortunately I do not have pics yet since I have no access to the car
