Hi!

It's my first post. I found some time to introduce myslef. My Name is Alex and I am from Netherlands. This october I bought my first 2007 V8 Vantage. I have rear lights condensation problems in my car. I found a DIY video made by Redpants.lol, started watching his movies and I found this one:

I am pretty impressed of the things these guys doing there. I wanted to keep my car for a longer while, mostly because it's manual and in this price range, it's really difficult to find something good and more special than BMW or Porsche, so I wanted to add some carbon parts.

I seen their prices, and I must admit that they are not cheap like parts in aliexpress, but also not expensive like V-collection.

After seing their parts catalog. https://ecpsgroup.com/kategoria-produktu/aston-mar... I saw many vantages pictures there, and I was wondering if anyone from here have bought anything from ECPS?

I just don't want to spend the money on cheap looking parts, paying more than I can buy directly in China. But I also don't want buy cheap chinese parts to put on My Aston Martin. OEM prices are a waay to expensive for me to put in this value car.

Can anyone tell anything more about them?

Hi Alex and welcome to the forum. Richard (redpants) sometimes posts on here, under the username telum01.

My Christmas present last year was a carbon slam panel from EPCS for my V8VS. Can’t complain at all for the price. Great quality item.

For the panel you have to remove (from your OE alloy panel) and re-glue the radiator stays on the underside yourself. Some don’t bother, but for the trivial job that that is, it isn’t worth even the slightest risk of cracked radiators down the line.

Hello Welcome to the forum.

Like Calinours, I have bought a carbon slam panel and it was an easy trade. Should be much easier for you living in Holland as you will not have any import tax/duties.

Worth noting, I have recently been talk to the guys at ECPS about a carbon grill and they have stated in the new year their prices will be going up by 20% or slightly more as the cost of energy and materials has increased. If you buy before Christmas they will honour their current pricing structure. I subsequently bought said item.

Hi Alex, I don't know anything about ECPS but just to say I have a V8 Vantage too and, whilst I'm UK based, I spend maybe 40% of my time in NL for work and personal reasons. I often drive over (sometimes in the Aston but sometimes in my Discovery) so if ever there are parts from the UK you need bringing over I'm happy to help - always keen to see more Astons on the Dutch roads!

Oh and I did a repair on my rear lights including finding a supplier of a new LED 'blade' as mine was failing - as good as new now!

I can only say good things about ECPS - both the quality of the parts and the great service.

Welcome to the forum Alex.

I can only really echo what has been previously mentioned. I bought a slam panel, a pair of side strakes and a gear lever surround last year. The quality of the products was very high indeed, particularly the slam panel. I did have a very small issue with fitting the gear lever surround, but a quick email exchange with Michal resolved the issue fairly easily. He is very active in the AM Facebook groups, and he is always quick to respond to any issues. As others have said, being in the Netherlands means you will avoid the import duties that now affect us in the U.K. If you want to avoid AM OEM prices, ECPS is definitely a route worth pursuing. Good luck.

Best Regards

Minglar

I started working with ECPS because of the quality vs price for the product you get. Their work is fantastic and they sell their Aston Martin parts at a really low price frankly because Michal (the guy in the video with me) loves Astons so much.
I have a mix of OEM and ECPS carbon fiber on my car and ECPS is as good or better than OEM.

I love seeing photos of that enormous V12 engine somehow shoehorned into that little under bonnet space. It makes the V8 look like an A-series smile

Always reminds me of some huge predatory animal behind bars that barely look big enough to contain it at a zoo.

How I’d love a V12V.

The amount of tax I was charged equated to just over 25% of the total order value. That was not long after the U.K. left the EU and there were a lot of delays regarding invoicing and processing etc. I placed my order with ECPS in April 2021 and the courier sent the tax bill almost six months later. I would assume that the system is more efficient nowadays although I don’t know if the % rates have changed. HTH a bit. BRM.
