Normal Aston Martin promotional film.
A flickering blur.
Probably less than half a second, for every scene.
They must think it is Oscar award winning material though.
Can you imagine;
Lawrence Stroll (showing his holiday pictures to his family).
"Now get ready, you only get 0.5 seconds to see each of my photographs".
Lance Stroll, "Oh, don't bother, not worth looking at then".
I quite like it, lots of good imagery packed in there. Yes some of them flash by too fast but that`s the way of it these days, maybe they want to drive more repeat views to get the numbers up!? All the clever vernacular packed in alongside the clips makes it a bit more busy for the senses while absorbing, can`t help think that music and sound alone would have been more emotive. Strange that as Vettel is lowering himself into the cockpit the voice over say "the getting up..."
I thought it was very well put together, no doubt a number of people have seen this pre public release as well and rarely do marketing work in a silo.
Nice to see AM in general on social media are getting more hands on guiding dealerships with corporate level content, whilst each dealer is putting their own content alongside it.

You are very kind Dean and also quite right.
I have to admit sometimes being out of touch with the modern world.
( Perhaps for example, I am not meant to feel there is anything wrong, with one person sitting on an M25 overhead gantry, halting the journeys of thousands of fellow citizens. When the police say to the protestor, "Is there anything we can get you. Would you like a cup of tea", is only me who thinks something has gone wrong? )
I think my point is, that in the markets that AML trade, on average when people become older, many more of them then have spare money to spend on expensive new cars.
Is this perhaps very clever long-term marketing ?
It has always seemed odd to me, that AML promotional material appears to be aimed at a generation of future buyers and the very few youngsters who can afford the cars now.
Perhaps it is the modern digital equivalent of this 1970's poster on a child's bedroom wall.
40 years later, that child bought a new Aston Martin, for occasional use.
