Servicing in East of England help please?
Discussion
Now AM Cambridge shut probably 2 years ago where have other people been taking their AM's for service please? Last year mine went to the nearest remaining Dealer in Brentwood, Essex but they scratched him so not keen to go back. There must be some other recommendations nearer than Bamford Rose at Stratford (who are brilliant). I have used a local independent classic car garage in the past.
If you don't mind a good Indy, try www.tdi-plc.com - 20 mins from Brentwood who are great.
I am going to go to Works this year, they will pick up for free within 50 miles, plus I still have the Timeless Warranty. Its such a shame Cambridge closed, I waited 4 years to get one and they closed just before I got one, and yet they were less than 20 miles away...
So will ask Works to pick up and return, it will be interesting how she gets on, as she has only ever been serviced by the same AM garage the whole time.

We're not allowed to name & shame on here but if you want my view on why not to even think about using one of the suggestions above in this thread, feel free to PM me. They are - or at least were, a few years ago - utterly devoid of even the most basic levels of quality control, they try to push their previous oversights back onto the customer, and based on what they did to my car, they'd struggle with a £1k hatchback.
I don't have anywhere near you to recommend but I had good service from Pugsley & Lewis in Beckenham last year.

One of the issues for me is getting it there and bsck.
I know you can wait but if something has to be fixed and left , it’s a pain getting home, unless I am missing a trick
Works eliminates all of that
Brentwood when I got the clutch done was delayed then the trains went on strike was just ridiculous in the end
Interesting how others get on
