DB7 rear light options

I’ve never been a fan of the mazda rear lights so when respraying my car I had a go at updating them. Appreciate this may not be to everyone’s taste but I think it looks better.
It’s completely reversible and can be put back to standard in a few minutes.

Cant really see what you have done - are they clear versions of the originals or sourced from a different donor?

I have always rather liked the driving dynamics rear lights ( see https://astonmartins.com/car/db7-v12-vantage-v8-re... but i think I am in the minority with that opinion on here.

Interesting idea.

Are they legal? Don't the reflectors need to still be red?

Would be nice to gave more of a mk1 Vanquish style and get rid of the amber (but with out the separate round reflectors.)

Did you spray over them lightly?

I guess the main thing is - will it pass an MOT?

Original lights with coloured lenses removed and replaced with clear prismatic lens shaped to fit. It’s a spare set so I have the originals to replace them with. Obviously bulbs replaced with coloured items.

Maybe a little too close to the body colour for my taste..but I see where you are going..

Agree very close to body colour so I may try smoking them slightly. There used to be a chap who made DB9 style accents for DB7 lights which I also think look decent.
