Does anyone have any pictures of one of these on a car? Or has anyone seen one in the wild? Would love to see actual pictures of one

Never seen one but lusted after one for a while. I enquired last year actually….

RRP is, are you sitting down, £6756 inc VAT

Even with a hefty discount from the parts dept I could persuade myself it was a go-er!

Wow. Makes me wonder how much a replacement vanquish bootlid costs…

That parcel shelf can’t be the hardest thing to make in carbon fibre and would be attractive as an aftermarket part?

Love the weight reduction comment on the linked page. I just know that if I tried to use that as any sort of justification the question would be asked about why not simply just remove the shelf!

Make a simple and affordable copy with half a sheet of 12mm MDF, a jigsaw and a sheet of sticky-back c/f-effect plastic nuts

Sounds perfect. But unfortunately I suspect sourcing the pair of speakers of questionable origin and MaxPower sticker needed to complete it might prove challenging.

I weighed my parcel shelf when it was out of the car recently, it was about 4kg so this probably represents the worst £ per kilo saved you could possibly spend biggrin

And despite that it's still held up by two bits of string, like every hatchback since 1979!
