Don't call us, we might call you.

Pleased to see a solution at last, for the famous AML paint bubbles.
That large grit extractor, immediately behind the front wheels, should be able to sandblast all of the paint on the side of the car.

Nice! I especially like the rear. Unfortunately you have the old Aston badges on the car so it will never sell.

Can’t say I’m crazy about the name.

Great to see that design students now have far better tools to help visualise their concepts. Imagine what William Towns could have done with all this 3D modelling and rendering software as opposed to his pencil, ruler, wood and clay….. smile

I note one slight problem with this, however, and given it’s likely a student effort it is entirely forgivable… even the top men can err, look at one or two of the recent efforts of Reichmann et al.

It’s stated that this would use a 6.5 V12. Now, where exactly would it go? There is not much room under the bonnet.

C`mon, it`s all about scale, those are 36 inch wheels!

Helpful, but it appears not always essential in achieving dominant success.

The winning car of every F1 GP this year.
Initial design by Mr. Adrian Newey, with his trusty pencil and drawing board.
Somehow he can visualise in his mind, air flowing over surfaces, then direct that air flow in the way that is required.

It's a 'no' from me. Just the same old stuff pushed around a bit.

Terrible name!

I know it’s a ‘design study’, but imagine that front lip getting over the slightest imperfection in the road.

They obviously have learnt nothing from what resonates with the AM clients - or they have, and think it’s 80110ck5

The front is another water based mammal

Paint it yellow and you could stick a Fyffes badge on it.

In the AML Reports there are Sports cars and GT cars.
Vantage is Sports and the DB11/12 and DBS are GT.
Limited editions and Specials are counted separately.

Therefore at present the only car AML refer to as Sports, is the Vantage.

Indeed Jon, but as you know, Autocar isn’t always the paragon of motoring journalism and probably has no idea what the relevance of those words is in AML speak. My money would be on DB12 Volante. But you never know, it could be “new new Vantage” wink
Personally I think it won’t be, and that model will come later this year. We shall see. BRM.

Sorry but I really can’t go along with the “new new Vantage”. I think it needs to be the “ultra new Vantage”.
