Adding oem bluetooth and phone to 07 vantage roadster
Discussion
I guess you could contact Aston Installations (AI) to see if they will sell you their kit, if not then it will be a trip to Tewkesbury for them to fit it or one of their appointed agents around the UK.
There was a thread on here not long ago showing alternatives to the AI systems but I've no idea how good they are or not.

Really wnat an OE look and feel. Not into modern mods.
If thats the case then I would have thought the Aston Installations set up would be perfect, it retains the original system and effectively is a plug n play set up.https://astoninstallations.com/
Yea, i onow about that. Not OEM. Looks good.
I’ve got the buttons for phone, but all they do is mute the stereo.
I wanting guidance to by and fit the original hardware, volvo modules and harnesses to make it as out of the factory. I’m not bothered about it being clunky and low definition. Thats what it was like back in 08 when the car was built.
Variants abound and reprogramming hurdles may mean you guys say its not worth it, so be it. I’m just not an apple airplay sort of guy.

Even if you are adamant that you want to stick to AM OEM I still think it’s a good idea to contact James Hawkes-Reed at Aston Installations. He knows these cars systems inside out and he may be able to offer you some very useful advice. I know you’ve said you don’t want Apple CarPlay, or anything which is non OEM, but I suspect, although I don’t know for sure, that any original AM solution, if there is one, will be more expensive, and possibly more complex to install. Good luck though. I hope you can figure out a resolution. BRM.
The Bluetooth on our 06 V8V packed up. Went to get a replacement unit cir £300, but no longer available, looks like a similar Motorola part on other makes, but did find a wiring diagram and the V8/DB9 look the same but wired differently, so not 100% sure the other makes.
But the 06 unit was upgraded I believe around 08 to a different version with new screen and wiring. This is suggested as the replacement for the £300 one I had. But out of stock and cost cir £1,300 and a possible DIY but may need reprogramming to get it to work. By the time you add all that in it is probably easier to go to Aston Insulations.
I managed to find a salvaged one for £130, plug and play.
But if you don’t have any of the bits, it may get very expensive as you will need.
Steering wheel controls.
Wiring not sure of the extent.
Bluetooth module under dash, mine was £130
Bluetooth unit in passenger footwell
Bluetooth module in front of the gear stick, this may also need parts for the sky slope.
Mic behind mirror
The sound on the oem is not the best, still looking to improve mine now it is working.
Ask James at Aston Installations and he should be able to explain, but if you don’t have it at the moment I would not bother.

Does beg the question then. Is mine fitted but not working. I have steering wheel controls. The phone button mutes the radio but i can’t pick up or connect to a bluetooth with a phone. A bit of digging in te paperwork.
Have you checked if there is a small SIM tray on the lower right hand side of the centre ski slope? It will be just above the navigation toggle button. Having phone controls does not necessarily mean the Bluetooth module is in there too. I chose the separate SiM option on my 2007 V8 Vantage, so perhaps it may be worth checking that first? BRM. I Have just had a full Aston Installations kit installed
NEW HD SCREEN (ALL NEW GEARS) - FULL WIRED & WIRELESS CAR PLAY - FRONT & REAR CAMERAS - MAGNETIC CTEK CHARGER ADAPTOR
I'm really pleased with the install and you would never know apart from the controls that are hidden away in the centre console existing ashtray module
The whole install took around 5-6 hours but totally worth it IMO modernises the dated Volvo infotainment system without compromising the existing visual setup
id recommend touching base with them - they were superb and all the work was done while i waited.
