North West & North Wales Social Group
Discussion
I'm setting up a North West & North Wales social group via www.astonowners.com and looking for anyone who wants to be involved to direct message me with your name and a valid email address so I can send you more details.
It is all free.
The idea of the group is regular get togethers and and Aston related activities. But also creating a group where anyone can organise anything quickly and easily. So it can be local to you, but can also be more substantial if you so desire.
Please direct message me your email and name details and don't post them as a reply on here.
I will email those wishing to be involved full details of how this is expected to work. Via a subgroup page on the main website. I will not be spamming you or anyone else with emails.

Thanks to those who have been in touch, now 19 people have joined the group. If anyone is else is interested in joining, just PM me on here.
This is 100% free and no catches and is designed as an area where any Aston fans in the North West can link up and organise anything event they want to on a secure platform.

Evening All,
In reference to the Aston NW Social group I organised a trip to Lister Classics last weekend and we had about 20 people turn up, so very pleased. The only problem was half were TVR drivers. Who were of course very welcome. But I'm still looking for more Aston Owners to get involved and hopefully come up with lots of ideas.
PM me if interested. It is all free.

I'm in Derbyshire (which strictly is Midlands rather than North West) but would be keen to be involved if you're happy to broaden the area a little. Understand if not.
Good to see a post from you Pete.
I have been wondering about your engine rebuild, after you told us all about the disaster.
I was at BR for service a few week ago, but purposely did not ask anything concerning another customer.
Coincidentally, enjoyed a lovely week recently just over the border from Derbyshire (Calwich Abbey Estate).
Beautiful countryside. Again visited the Stepping Stones. Underwater and impassable at the time, but could walk the valley as far as the stones.
Kind regards.

Pete, you are more than welcome to join us. Then once we get a midlands group up and running you can also join that. Just send me a PM and I will send you the emails with all you need to do.

I will update my engine failure thread once I've got some photos to illustrate it and make it a bit more interesting than "new engine in car, wallet very much lighter". Predictably, given the car is now nearly 10 years old, I had quite a lot of other work done as part of the refresh ........

Yes, I'm still here David and have just about avoided car induced bankruptcy.

Was that your “ported” car in the last video?
