DB9 radio reception
Discussion
Not much help, but mine has always been worse than dire, there are loads of places where I can't get a signal at all. I got the Aston Installations full install and use my phone to stream radio or mp3.
One day I may trace the aerial cable and check that its earthing where it needs to, but for now......

Thanks for the replies. McGurk is too far from Essex and I barely use a mobile phone (still wondering how to end a call!)

I suspect it's an earth issue, yes. I think the unit can do better but has a connection problem. Perhaps it can be attended to at the next service.Edited by Simpo Two on Thursday 5th October 09:32
Grubbing around in the boot I discovered some clever-looking electrical stuff and thought - aha that might be something to do with an aerial.
I didn't see anything untoward like loose wires but googling the part number on the little boxes revealed them to be AM/FM modules. As they're both marked AM/FM why are there two?
