Not the usual influencer review.
Wait until about 80% through the video, then there are some brief mentions of how a Vantage performs.
Almost the entire commentary, is a lesson in arithmetic. Particularly on how expensive everything is.
The 'owner' paid £7,500, then someone else paid £21,500.
Fortunately the clutch has not failed yet. That could be 'the last straw'.

What I did notice, was instead of spending time making a video, cleaning the roof lining might be more of a priority.
Showing signs of damp damage.

The first comment by someone;
'You're wearing a hoodie driving an Aston Martin... where's your blazer?' - smile
Perhaps a DB5 joke. Times have changed regarding sartorial elegance.

I don’t know why you would want to inflict this stuff on yourself Jon. Due to oversaturation, for most it seems that the novelty of watching random folks switching on a camera, making up garbage and posting online is wearing off.

If one’s situation is such that it’s considered worthwhile to spend an entire weekend creating some ‘content’ that will hopefully be suffered (with adverts) by a few thousand people to make £50 from YouTube then perhaps alternate means of gainful employment should be considered. Most of these guys should be reviewing old hot hatches or the like, they stretch their resources to purchase (or finance) or otherwise acquire what are usually the cheapest, most badly maintained, rattiest and tiredest examples of exotica then make a few videos pontificating and/or complaining about all the inevitable faults. They all do far more damage than good.

September “I just bought an Aston!!!!!!! ”
December “I just sold my Aston!!!!!! “

Granted the chap in your vid has owned his a little longer than the norm for a youtuber. Kudos for that.

Of course interspersed with videos complaining about how this or that doesn’t work, has finally broken, or (after reading some period journalist articles) how the handling or the infotainment was never quite right….

I wonder also how long it will be before plod start to get interested in all these videos, there’s is so much evidence of all sorts of stuff, usually speeding but also commonly driving without due care, half of these guys seem to spend more time looking at the camera than the road ahead...

Yes, what he said was perfectly correct (although I think the road tax might even be more than he stated).
I just thought how different his theme was, from the usual YouTube reviewer.
Nearly all about expense, almost nothing about the car.

I think everyone already knows that Aston Martins can be expensive to buy and maintain.

Whilst on the subject of YouTube motoring entertainment.
In case you have not already found it, AM PHers might enjoy this channel.

Ivan Dutton, known for being a British Saloon Car Champion in the 1970s and master restorer of Bugattis, is now age about 83 and delightfully no one has told him, because he is still passionate about cars and full of 'get up and go'.
He has a wonderful and ever increasing collection of interesting cars (just a few include; 1920s cars; 1959 Minis; Ferrari and a recent Ginetta racing car). Also interesting to watch his workshop in action, with components being machined in-house.

There are many videos, but this is a good one to begin with.

Catchphrases;
"So that's good."
"Don't forget to subscroyb."

Enjoy.
