2019 Vantage - steering wheel lock recommendation?
Discussion
Hi all
Delighted to be back in the Aston Martin gang after quite a few years away. Bought a 2019 Vantage in Mariana blue yesterday, picking up next week! Feels a big upgrade from my previous 2006 one that I sold back in 2017.
Thinking about security at home and away, considering getting a steering wheel lock. Anyone on here using one on this generation of Vantage? I'm concerned that with the square steering wheel, position of paddles etc, that some locks may not be suitable, and so would be good to hear if anyone has found one that fits.
Cheers and more on the car to follow in due course once photos etc taken. I'm sure I'll have other questions too!

No advice for the lock but welcome! Just got a 2020 Vantage 4 months ago after 5 years in a 2011 N420, I just love it!Delighted to be back in the Aston Martin gang after quite a few years away. Yesterday, basically for the first time, I selected Sport+ for both driving and suspensions on top of using the paddles to shift... what a car! Very different from the normal Sport mode in automatic D.
I would recommend a Stoplock Pro Elite - it s been around a while now but still scores well in tests.
You can locate it between the LH shifter paddle and the steering wheel very easily, whilst stood outside the car.
When not in use you can put the end through the elastic strap on the rear of the boot / trunk and it will sit securely in place against the rear of the boot.
I also suggest using a cloth such as the one linked - fold it in half and insert it into the U of the lock bolt, where it will sit in place.
This will protect the leather of the wheel from any marks if you leave the lock in place for a while.
Be sure to check the cloth in hot weather to make sure it doesn t start to disintegrate - just an occasional wash will do, but you can always swap it out for a new one at such a low cost.
Hope this helps and Happy New Year.

The Stoplock Pro fits on my 2019 Vantage with the sports (square) steering wheel with no issues, as long as your front wheels are not turned at an angle.Delighted to be back in the Aston Martin gang after quite a few years away.
