Has anyone else had their remote exhaust cccharger fail ? Mines stopped working and wondered if anyone else had similar problem. Ive emailed the seller, but no reply yet and will ring them next week if required. I know exhaust valves all working as i can remove/fit the fuse and exhaust note changes. Any information appreciated.

Might teach you to suck eggs, but is the battery in the remote still good?

Or maybe the exhaust valves have seized/failed?

I had a CC Charger unit fail last year. Putting the fuse in and out confirmed that everything was working. I ordered a new one and five minutes later all was well. I don't know how old the original unit was as it was fitted when I got the car.

If a new battery in the remote doesn't help and you've cleaned the contacts on the wires that plug in to the fuse box then it's a replacement I'm afraid.

Mine was stuck on closed and as suggested below new batteries in remote cleared the issue! My first major DIY project of 2026

Clive replied to my e-mail so going to do a couple of checks on the remote to see if its paired correctly and check batteries etc.

Will just buy a new one if required.

Not sure how old the unit is I got it when I purchased a modified V12 back box from James at Aston Installations.
