2007 V8 Vantage quiet reversing sensors

Hi all,
Title says it all really, the rear parking sensors work but the volume is almost inaudible, any help much appreciated, thank you.

there's a volume ? mine don't seem to work at all (it's on the list)

There is no adjustment to the volume, so it sounds (no pun intended) as if you have an issue either with the small speaker or the control unit itself. Can't recall where the speaker is located, but on another car I had, it had slipped down behind carpeting which muffled its sound.
