I am assuming a lot of people here have done a similar drive in their Aston - curious what price on Fuel I would be expecting to do the journey (and back)

I did it 10 year ago in my Mk1 Mazda MX5 but cannot remember how much I spent!

While I don't know the prices out across europe. You're doing almost 1700 miles by road according to ye olde google maps. And obviously some zesty driving will occur most likely so you won't be getting around 20 mpg for the trip. Probably more like 15 or less. I'd probably say you're looking at £750 - £900 on fuel. But if the cost of fuel is that much higher you'll be looking at £1000.

I drove to (and over) the Stelvio Pass from London, via Salzburg and the Grossglockner on the way there and Davos on the way back in my 2012 V12 Vantage. The average consumption for each of the 8 tankfuls used over the 1,400 miles was between 18 and 24 mpg and the fuel cost (98 RON where possible) was about £620.
