Honestly, I don’t think it’s a massive cost for what is a major update. I realise that software costs can look invisible, but the development of that likely cost a chunk more than you’d think. To have factored that into pre-release cars would likely have added to the sale price anyway.

Yes good point - I wanted to add puddle lights to the car too which is listed at £2000, but think I’ll just add the Ultra instead

FYI Aston Martin Nottingham have a deal on for puddle lamps at the moment.

I have no strong view on CarPlay Ultra but personally I don’t really see why you would want to upgrade to it. As far as I know it pretty much takes over from the AM OEM system but what actual advantages are there? I guess there aren’t too many people who post here who are in a position to explain that conundrum to me as it’s quite a new thing. As for £2,000 for Puddle Lamps imho I really think that is taking the pss. YMMV of course. BRM.
