After a little foray today I now find myself with two of these gadgets, a CTEK I got last year for the DB9, and an official Aston Martin one kindly left in the boot of its replacement.

I don't need both... which one is best to keep and which one goes on eBay?

The CTEK is this one: https://www.halfords.com/motoring/battery-maintena...

Probably keep the Aston one. Assuming it’s a later model. I might be interested in taking the other one off your hands if you wanted to avoid faffing about with eBay. Drop me a message if you like.

I would keep both of them.

Reason - My original AM branded CTEK failed after a few years, so I had to buy a CTEK replacement.

Yes, I probably heard too much stuff, but some of it comes in handy later.

CTEK often supplied the Aston and other marques with chargers that were then simply rebadged.
Porsche used to get the inferior 3.6 model but the MXS5 you have is the one to have.
If the Aston one is identical to that I’d keep that although having a spare is never a bad idea.

The Aston one is quite different, but it came with the car (along with the tyre inflator jobbie and many other bits!) so I think I'll keep them both as suggested, and perhaps let the Aston one stay with the car as part of the history rather than recoup some cash.
