Vantage V8 f1 kit

Good morning everyone
I have been considering a new purchase for some time. Mclaren 570 gt, but I would like to stay in the house and sell my Vantage 2005 and buy a new vantage.
The 2024 model is gorgeous but it's out of my budget, except to wait for a couple of years to depreciate
I have a plan, to buy a 2018/20/21 Vantage and replace only the front bumper with the one from the f1. I don't want a complete kit. Only the bumper
I read that it is possible. The front of the F1 is much more beautiful
Has anyone done this?

I think that is feasible, as the slated grille is easily retrofitted to shark nose cars.

But why not buying directly an F1 or a slated grille car? Is the F1 front that much different from a slated grille one? I know there are the side fins, but surely you can add those easily.

I am fairly sure V12 body parts do not fit V8 cars, but I think all other variants are interchangeable.

Assuming that you are not in your senior years, a wait of 2 years is not a long time and that would be my plan to obtain the real original article.
I bought my V8V when 2 years old, from a main dealer at 40% below the original price.
Considerable initial depreciation involved. Hopefully a similar opportunity might become available to you.

I presume an original might be more desirable in the future, than an altered version.

The only real difference between the F1 edition and the 'standard' 'non-hunter' front end is the lower splitter and the canards, both available from ECPS
If that's the plan I'd look for a car with the option front bumper as they don't command a premium but are a little rarer and just swap the splitter.

Have you actually seen both in real life and in different colours? Very hard to compare in pictures.

Not sure I'd pay nearly £2k to change from the top to the bottom front splitter/canard, especially if you don't plan to fit any of the other aero, but it is a bit more aggressive, I wonder if you'd actually notice any difference in the drive.
