As far as I can see this Geely trade mark is not in use in the UK, so it is sensible to firstly try for registration to flush out objections. Better this than to meet an infringement action after commencing use. I'm not surprised at the result - wings are a common feature as illustrated in the decision. I doubt an appeal will succeed.
