Do I remember correctly, that Farrari have previously said, 'None of our customers have ever asked for a battery Ferrari'?
Therefore, who are they expecting to buy this?
Perhaps there are other reasons for this announcement.
Will they insist on first buying two Ferrari F80s, before being eligible to buy the battery Ferrari?
Or, perhaps more likely, Ferrari F80 customers need to first buy two Ferrari battery cars.
Imho I reckon they will sell a shed load of them. For some reason the high prices Ferrari charge for their products rarely seems to put customers off, and although the exterior styling on this one is somewhat challenging, the interior harks back to much simpler times. I think I read it was designed by someone involved with early Apple products? Most Ferrari vehicles look far too angular and odd from certain angles in my eyes, but the demand is still there. If AML could pinpoint their recipe it would be a very good thing indeed. I wonder how much the first Luce in the UK will be up for with TH or someone else? We shall see I guess. BRM.

It was suggested that was the only way they'd sell any...Which reminds me, what's the latest on Jaguar's Pink Throbber? Someone said they were going to do an IC version.

Ok - I’ll bite.
I’m not in the market for an SUV.
I don’t aspire to be a Ferrari customer.
BEVs do nothing for me.
But I think this is very cleverly designed. It’s much more complex than first glances suggest. Very Ives. It’s not a Ferrari in a classic sense, but then most Ferraris have been questionable visually since disassociating themselves from Pininfarina.
They are clear it’s for a whole new market. So if it was what everyone expected, it won’t meet that aspiration.
Final prediction - it will be one of the milestone designs that finally makes the industry embrace restrained but considered designs. Universally, cars have become littered with slashed, winglets, etc. it’s time for a revolution. I can’t wait for that.

I agree that modern 'supercar' design has got too extreme, but there's a still a thing called 'style' they could have tried. No kid is pinning pictures of 5 seater family cars on the wall, no matter what the brand.
I think it’s excellent. This is way more desirable than an Urus or Cullinan. It replaces nothing else in the range, so sports car fans are not being denied anything.
The interior is next level and something none of the traditional brands could have got away with.

I know we like to joke about iPads stuck to dashboards, but usually it isn't meant literally...
I was very fortunate when choosing my present daily driver.
At least they made some effort to incorporate the two screens (joined together) into the dashboard.
That avoids the now quite common it seems, 'stuck on afterwards' appearance.
There are even quite a few traditional manual switches, although voice control can be used.
With the successor model, a facelift, they lost the plot completely with their dashboard design.
