2005 db9 ps fluid change
Discussion
Think there is a BMW equivalent? Part number 83290434684. Still made by Lubrizol I believe. I saw it on a YouTube video over the weekend funnily enough.

Hi Mike
This is the same for V8V and DB9

Plus 2 liters of CHF11S, there is a Aston 1936 youtube video about it.

Off topic, but I shall now demonstrate why you should trust AI about as far as you can throw your Aston, one-handed.I started off with a simple statement "Lubrizol 6178 in Aston Martin" taken from information given by mike-2txrc, and you can see the response
So far, so good. Now I challenge the response, tell it flat out that it's wrong (it isn't) and, because it's trained not to contradict users and wants to please, this is what I got
I can now screencap this and tell Aston1936 all about his "typo". To make matters worse, it even hallucinated a further piece of evidence to show that I was right

I had this same issue a year and bit ago.
The pension CHF-11s is now Fuchs Titan CHF-11s, I did a lot of research to find that Pentosin had been bought out by Fuchs and rebranded but it is the exact same spec and formula as before. I still have 2-3x 1L cans of it in my garage.
The lubrizol was a real pain and confusing to track down, I bought official Aston lubrizol from Aston Martin bits, and when it arrived it was Jaguar Land Rover branded, so I sent it back and had to argue for refund as in my view was not genuine Aston Martin as advertised. Turns out was my bad and it was the correct additive, although not Aston branded. I bought elsewhere in the end much cheaper and again was same JLR version, worth noting the bmw one is also same but generally more expensive on auction sites.
I recall also finding the workshop procedure for changing the power steering fluid too, number of times to turn full lock left /right and how long to hold for etc. that was very useful as was not exactly how my mechanic would’ve done it usually but he followed it with me as he didn’t want to screw up the steering rack by not following it.
