after some advice on my brakes, they are due a new set of pads soon, however i thought i would treat it to some rather sexy grooved dics, which i have seen at "envy", but i am baffled as to what pad to get.
the ebc ones are nearly half the price of the others, is there a rather obvious reason for this? also i dont want to have to drive a couple of miles before its possible to brake? Does anyone have any reccomendations? (i cant afford a massive upgrade kit!)

Dont the Redstuff ones take a while to heat up?

I've got the Greenstuff on the MRT. I think since they switched to a new compund they got a lot better.

Im happy enough with mine anyway.

Should work fine with new discs.
The 'budget' pads are prob cheaper than OE pads, better stopping too. There is a dealer locator on their main page. The quickest way to find a local dealer is to click on catalogue page & fill in the drop down boxes.

The racing pads are prob what you want tho. From the 'F' range,FR4's are prob best for fast road/occasional track use. Hope you find what you need.
Matt.

I wouldn't go near greenstuffs with a bargepole to be honest.

I run TRDs on mine, and they're excellent.
