Take for instance, the skylines in the classified section. I can't seem to see any real consistency in the pricing for the different cars. Is it just a free for all and put it as dare as you hope or I am missing something deeper?

You may as well ask why is there so much variation in the price of Porsche 911's or BMW 3-series?

Also a lot of spec/condition/type of use, variety between cars in the same variant bracket. A lot of folk who have spent money modifying will ,understandably imo, hope to claw some back.
