Jap import NOVA paperwork

Hi all

Have personally imported a car after a lot of research, all cleared and collected 6 weeks ago, MOT done too.

However, my freight agent in UK (reputable) are still waiting for the NOVA paperwork from HMRC - needed before I can register the car

Not to blame my agent but they have said there are delays across the board for everyone.

Is anyone else experiencing the same? It hurts to know I can't drive my car and it's just sitting there!

Did you get to the bottom of it?

Seems like an unusually long delay. You'd think early summer would be a good time.

I imported two JDM cars (not from Japan) for myself last year and they arrived in May, and the NOVA documentation cleared within weeks of the vehicles' arrival, as did the first registration with the DVLA.
