MAZDA 6 AIR BAG FAULT CODE 18 - HELP!

[Symptomless Coma]

My family shed had started flashing the air bag warning light which corresponds to fault code 18.

I’ve tried the owner’s manual, searching PH and the web and all I can find is complete rubbish.

Can anyone help identify what’s wrong and what I need to do to fix it?

Have you checked the under seat wiring? Quite common for problems with it in general (not just mazda specific) which then throws up a warning.
