broken 200sx s13

Hey guys!
I bought a 200sx s13 a few days back and all was going well until the big end bearings decided they had enough
something the previous owner forgot tell me.
Now im wondering if u guys can give me some info..?
Does anyone know a good place for tuning and engine rebuilds around london?
I have £3000 to make my car right (if not better) and wondering what i should spend it on and where to take it.
Any suggestions?

Give gary and the boys at APT a call, and they'll sort you out with a rock solid rebuild. Loads of the SX boys (myself included having had 5 of them) swear by gary. Very high standard of work and doesn't charge the rip off rates that a lot of tuners do.
If you haven't already, get yourself registered on www.sxoc.com forums, there's a lot of good folks on the sxoc that'll help you. They're almost famous for big end trouble these days so a lot of folks (myself included) have had to suffer their wrath.

How much did you pay for the car if you dont mind me asking? There are a number of options available, but it really does depend on the condition of the shell/spec of the car

forked out £3000 for it as the shell is mint and the car and enging had only done 57000.
not too sure about the engine now. what options would you suggest?

£3k?? Blimey. Well if the shell is that mint its worth fixing.
I'd ask about on SXOC and see if anyone local to you knows of a reputable garage that can fit a decent 2nd hand engine
