I have a '69 mini with a Honda K20a in the rear.

It would be like this guy I used to know. He was always at the Green Shed, a popular haunt for older West Indians to meet and play dominos. His name was Jasper and he talked with a Caribbean accent and also boasted about how well his "woman" cooked "chicken, rice and peas... and ting".

Jasper is a blonde-haired white bloke from Windsor.

Someone turned up to a Jap Boxhill meet in a Mini with a Lancer Evo engine in it. Nobody told him to leave...

Hell, I've turned up to a Jap meet in a bog standard Mercedes. Nobody told me to leave... but then again, they probably thought I was Japanese.

At pod and Japshow I've seen a skoda with an RX7 engine goe down the strip and a mini with 2 honda engines. Hell no - they're great ideas! I've also seen an Elise sorry eRise in white with a Type R engine - VERY cool.

sounds like a great idea, i would love to see it!! As for a jap meet though...............who knows when that will happen??
