whats the difference

whats the difference between mivec and non mivec fto exhausts? i need to replace my exhaust and the company im gettin it from says they dont know if it will fit my GR non mivec because it was fitted and tested on a mivec.. they seem to think the gaskets may be different...

any ideas?
