I have a place in the queue for a Nissan GTR and was wondering if its possible to sell on(for what I paid for it). My delivery slot is March next year.

Any thoughts.....

Just got my deposit back, think they will all of a sudden become available sooner, they are taking a hard hit secondhand.

Andy.

and you expected buying this car to be financially prudent?

it's an epic car, with costs to go with it

Depreciation doesn't have to be one of them and isn't always one of them when buying an expensive car.

expect there are no examples of cars holding value at the mo

not sure I buy the 'hard hit secondhand' story either; sounds like a proxy for someone who can't afford one, cancelling.

There are cars that hold their money, I agree not many very new cars though..

To answer the OP, no, there is no market for a premium now.
Anybody can march into a dealer and get one for list price almost immediately (cancelled order).

Unless you have an early order California or 458 Italia, the market for premiums is almost completely dead for the forseeable future IMO.
