1999 Impreza Sport - Head Unit wiring
Discussion
Evening All,
Just been out to the car to try and install my old Alpine MP3 unit into the Impreza. I pulled out the standard cassette unit and the it's not a standard iso block behind it.
Do I need to get an adapter? I don't want to splice and dice the wiring as i'm planning on getting a new bluetooth head unit next year.
Cheers,
Phill

This adaptor is required to replace a Subaru Impreza factory fitted radio with a Kenwood aftermarket model. It converts the car's original power and speakers wiring connector to a standard ISO connector, as used on all our radios. Simply plug one end of the adaptor into your cars wiring harness, and the other end into your new radio; no cutting of wires is necessary.
Part reference: PC2-44-4
Planning to change to a Kenwood Head Unit soon
