Nissan Stagea V6 ??

Does anyone know anything about the Nissan Stagea V6 Turbo ??

£8.5k for a 25,000 mile car looks to be a bargain. Having had an Evo and an Audi stolen this also looks to be a far more subtle and less nickable car ??

What else has that V6 Turbo engine ??

I'm pretty sure the engines not a v6 but a straight 6. Think skyline estate.

Yup did the searches etc these are all the straight six MK1's .. just found a couple of Australian adds for the Mk2 which has a later V6 turbo ...

They seem to be made between 2001 - 2007 ...

Makes sense, since they dropped the straight 6 and have been using the VQ v6's on other cars like the 350z etc.

Ahhh thanks so if I import one it's not going to be too hard to get bits for it ... I've asked the importer on ebay to let me know when he gets one in so I can go have a look.

I haven't found anyone else importing them into the UK ??

That'll be a rare beast indeed. I can't think of any other V6 turbo from the same period. Looks like they only made that engine for 2 years before replacing it with the N/A 3.5lt

So the engine is unique to the Stagea ... the turbo runs at quite high pressure .... and the ceramic rotor is prone to breaking up !!

Still it looks to be a good size estate with a good spec (Bose stereo, electric thingys and gubinz) but more importantly looks like a standard (boring) Japanese estate car so may avoid the thieving g*ts who took my Evo and my Audi ......

I'll get some photos when I go have a look in the new year ...........
