Better late than never!
Sadly, rumour has it that was the last Fighting Torque event. There wasn't a great turnout to be honest, but I still had fun.

Were you at the PH meet at Manor Farm? I seem to remember a GTR there with the Godzilla numberplate.
Lovely car, by the way. A fella up the road has one and it looks gorgeous.
Thanks, yes I was at Manor Farm. See the photo thread for more details.Lovely car, by the way. A fella up the road has one and it looks gorgeous.
It will also be on the Pistonheads stand at the NEC next week.
Hi David,
I was at the Fighting Torque event in a black GTR32....you may remember it blowing up!
Shame it is the last FT event, although, with the costs of the engine rebuild mounting I doubt I would do it again and I was too nervous to launch the car properly in case I broke it.......
Cheers,
Mark

Yes of course I remember your poor car. Is it back together again now?
What with that R33 blowing up on its first run too, I was glad not to be in an RB26 engined GT-R. Been there, blown that (4 times) had the T-shirt fleeced off my back...
David
Not together yet..............courier just brought the (almost) final batch of parts!!
When is Evo going to do an article bringing together alll the GTRs from the R32 to th 35? Be a good article and with your contacts you could get together a great collection from mild to wild GTRs?
I remember your article comparing the GTR32,33 and 34 - time for another incl the 35 don't you think!?
Cheers,
