Legacy 3.0R Spec B Auto Wagon

I am seriously looking at buying a spec B 3.0R wagon with the tiptronic auto box. My local dealer has nothing in, so I cant get a test drive - yet. So my question is how do they drive in the real world of some town and some fast A roads, are they as involving as say an Imprezza or an M3 for example. Any body want to share their experiences, good or bad. Thanks
