Any good Mitsubishi independent garages?

Hi,

I have a 2002 Shogun which needs a diff switch replaced.
Main dealer says this involves taking the gearbox out and want to charge me £600.
I politely declined the offer.

I have the new part and just need to find a garage who can do the work for less than £600. Can't believe lowering a gearbox and refitting it costs £600.

My gearbox was replaced for my e30 old beemer in less than an hour.

Admittedly I'm sure the 4 wheel drive Shogun is more complicated but....

If anybody can recommend a good indy in the Cambridge area I'd be very grateful

Have a look on the Mitsubishi Lancer Register, you should get a result there.

Eurospec in Guildford.. not that near Cambridge I know but definately specialise in Mitsis.
