It's a Scooby STI Wagon, faulty temp sensor and probably coked up sparks, not a massive problem my mechanic says it's an easy fix.
So life was all good, but, and it is a big and annoying BUT, it won't start up/turn over, i can't tow it or bump it as I live at the top an unmade road so i can't move it. And a trailer won't make it up to my house.

Ideas, if any are achieviable in the dark after work before the weekend.

Gus, my Impreza is currently in a garage with a real 'Scoobie Guru'. He's a nice guy and might be up for answering some questions, say, try this or try that. If you want me to wander over, take down the details and ask him, I will do.

Re-reading the thread, maybe you just need a tow or help shuffling the car about?

Steve, getting it started was a nightmare I ended up having to tow it out of my drive before i could bump start it on the hill. It has been looked over and had a little TLC and is now starting first time, everytime, I should get it back tonight or tomorrow in working order. biggrin

Can't wait.

OK cool smile I'd like to see it when it's on the road, my one is 255 miles away in a barn in deepest Cornwall and I miss the old girl!

Sounds like the garage replaced the crank sensor. If that goes you get no start up at all.
