Hopefully there's a quick answer to this one. When I first got my the car the Apexi AVC-R showed a real time reading of the boost (in large text), together with the max boost achieved that journey in small text just under the main reading.

I was messing around with the settings the other day to see what other displays were available (eg. duel display like boost + revs) but decided the original display was favourite. I've got the boost showing on it's own again OK, but lost the max boost reading under it. Tried reading through the badly translated instructions and can't find anything.

Anyone know how sort it out, back to the way I had it?

IIRC press the left arrow button, or the top one, or the right one.. at the outside its the bottom one.

One of them will give a peak hold hehe

I think I may have tried that and hence got where I am now biggrin

Maybe I'll try pressing them in that order.....or two at a time.

I had one once, horribly over complicated bit of kit that cost alot. My advise would be remove it sell it for lots on ebay then buy a standalone ECU that does its job better; and your fueling and ignition for only about a 1/3 more than you raise selling the Apexi.

It's working OK for now but it's something I'll probably change in the future. My only issue with a standalone ECU is it's for my 964 Turbo and it's not a common mod, so therefore there aren't a huge amount of specialists out there. Will be looking in to it at some point though.

When you put EFI on the Porsche it may be worth talking to some kit car/engine builders regarding their approach to building an EFI/ECU/complete system from scratch as imo some Porsche enthusiasts are less than helpful when discussing your options at that particular crossroad and are either luddites or insist you spend £15k doing it.
There is some discussion in the Porsche forum at the moment and the suggestion is a decent system will cost £4.5K ish with dyno/tuning costs on top of that.
